Registration opens for NGAUS 2021 Conference

RICHMOND, Va. — Registration for the rescheduled 143rd General Conference and Exhibition of the National Guard Association of the United States held August 27-30, 2021 in the Neon City of Las Vegas, Nevada is now open. Officers and Warrant Officers may register online between June 7 and midnight July 31, 2021. Attendees may register here.

This year’s conference theme is The National Guard: All-in for America’s Defense.

The annual conference starts with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28, followed by the opening of the exhibition along with brunch for all conference-badged attendees. The first Professional Development Session begins at noon Saturday, Aug. 28. The second Professional Development Session opens at 8 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 29. The third Professional Development Session gets underway at 11:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30.

All  Professional Development Sessions are held at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, which has the fifth largest convention center in the country. The 12-acre destination resort is situated on the famous Vegas Strip near McCarran International Airport. NGAUS will conduct the Army and Air National Guard separate sessions at 8:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 30. The annual event ends that evening with the States Dinner at the Mandalay Bay Ballroom. This year’s dinner has been themed as “Classic Vegas Casual”

The Joint Resolutions Committee meeting begins 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 27, following training for new members of the committee.
