RICHMOND, Va. – The Virginia National Guard Association is pleased to announce that Daniel Gade, Commissioner of the Virginia Department of Veterans Services, will be the Plenary Speaker at the 2023 Virginia National Guard Conference. This year’s conference is held on April 29, 2023, in Williamsburg, Virginia.
As a retired U.S. Army lieutenant colonel and wounded warrior, Commissioner Gade brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the conference. His distinguished military career and leadership roles in veterans’ advocacy and policy make him a highly respected and sought-after speaker in the military community.
“Commissioner Gade is a passionate and vocal advocate for veterans’ issues and has worked tirelessly to ensure that all veterans receive the care and support they deserve,” said Andrew J. Czaplicki, VNGA president. “His commitment to serving those who have served our country is truly inspiring, and we are honored to have him as our Plenary Speaker.”
During his keynote address, Commissioner Gade will share insights and perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing our nation’s veterans and the critical role that the Virginia National Guard plays in supporting them. “His remarks will be both informative and inspiring, and we are confident that his message will resonate with all attendees,” Czaplicki said.
