Conference: Anheuser Busch Brewery Tour Scheduled for Friday Night!

RICHMOND, Va. – The Virginia National Guard Association is thrilled to announce a private tour of the Anheuser Busch factory in Williamsburg, Va. exclusively for attendees of the 2023 Virginia National Guard Conference. This tour will take place on Friday, April 28, 2023, and promises to be an unforgettable experience.

During the tour, you will have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of Anheuser Busch and see firsthand how their iconic beverages are brewed and bottled. You will be guided through the production facility by knowledgeable and experienced staff, who will share insights about the brewing process, the company’s sustainability initiatives, and much more.

In addition to the tour, attendees will have the opportunity to sample some of Anheuser Busch’s most popular products, including their world-famous Budweiser and Bud Light beers. You will also have the chance to explore the brewery’s beautiful grounds and gardens, which are home to a variety of wildlife and plant species.

Please note that this tour is only open to registered attendees of the 2023 Virginia National Guard Conference, and that space is limited. If you are interested in participating, please register for the conference as soon as possible to secure your spot.

Prior to the Friday tour, the Presidents of the VNGA and Virginia National Guard Enlisted Association invite attendees to the Presidents’ Exhibition Hall Grand Opening and Reception.

Saturday starts with a presentation to the VNGA, the VNGEA, and the Virginia National Guard Historical Foundation from the 28th Adjutant General of Virginia, Maj. Gen. Timothy P. Williams. Maj. Gen. Williams will introduce our Keynote Speaker (TO BE ANNOUNCED). Following the joint presentation, the VNGA Officers and Warrant Officers break out into grade-specific sessions to discuss the opportunities and challenges facing the Virginia National Guard.

Following the breakout sessions, the VNGA convenes the annual business meeting and holds elections for officer positions and sets the advocacy agenda for 2024.

Saturday night ends with the 2023 Military Ball. The military ball features a formal military banquet and keynote presentation from a senior leader of the National Guard, music, games and dancing!
